Active Recreation, Motorcycle Ride, and Cycling Race: How Karaganda Region Celebrated World Tourism Day
Karaganda Region celebrated World Tourism Day with a rich program featuring interactive tourism zones in the Central Park, a motorcycle season-closing rally, and a cycling race in Karkaralinsk.
Karaganda Region hosted vibrant events dedicated to World Tourism Day, offering residents and guests exciting sports activities and interactive tourist zones.
In Karaganda, the Central Park hosted the "Active Tourism Territory" venue. Visitors explored modern tourist gear, bicycles, SUP equipment, and boats, as well as tested their skills on a rope obstacle course.
Another highlight was the motorcycle rally dedicated to the closing of the motorcycle season. The convoy started near the Tennis Center on Respublika Avenue, rode along Tolepov Street, and finished at the Viktor Tsoy monument.
The sports program also reached Karkaralinsk, which hosted the open regional cycling race "MOUNTAIN BIKE QARQARALY". Teenagers and adults alike successfully completed a challenging 21-kilometer route.
