A training seminar, "Fundamentals of Hospitality," was held in Karkaraly for tourism industry professionals. The seminar was organized in Karkaraly to ensure that local tourism businesses could participate without having to leave their workplaces during the start of the tourist season. The event brought together 40 participants, including managers and employees of hotels, recreation facilities, and food service establishments. The speakers were Aidar Koishybayev, Cluster General Manager of Wyndham Garden Astana and Ramada by Wyndham Astana and a graduate of Hotel Institute Montreux (Switzerland), and Akbota Dauren, Chief Manager of the Tourism Product Development Department at Kazakh Tourism National Company. The experts shared their practical experience in the hospitality industry, discussing international service standards, hospitality culture, and effective approaches to guest relations. During the seminar, participants analyzed real-life situations and worked through practical case studies. Participants learned about modern HoReCa service standards and received practical recommendations for improving service quality and strengthening the culture of hospitality. Upon completion of the training, all participants received certificates. The seminar contributed to the development of the region's tourism industry by enhancing service quality and strengthening the professional skills of tourism specialists.
